Hajar Algosair, General Supervisor for the Assistant Deputyship for Sustainable Development at MEP, spoke during the COP28 Climate Change Conference about the Ministry’s sustainability efforts, which resulted in a massive 70% increase in corporate sustainability reporting in 2023 reaching over 200 companies reporting. Algosair said the Ministry recognizes the importance of corporate sustainability to facilitate access to capital and investment by the Kingdom’s corporates and to ensure their long term resilience and competitiveness.
